DIOCLETIAN, (A.D. 284-305), AE folles, Ticinum mint, issued A.D. 296-7, (10.55 grams), obv. laureate head of Diocletian to right, around IMP C DIOCLETIANVS P F AVG, rev. around GENIO POPV LI ROMANI, Genius standing to left, holding patera and cornucopiae, star to left, PT in exergue, (cf.S.3533, RIC 31a). Extremely fine, silvered obverse.
