GETA, (A.D. 209-212), AE dupondius, issued 211, Rome mint, (11.284 grams), obv. radiate head to right of Geta, around P SEPTIMIVS GETA PIVS AVG BRIT, rev. Pietas (or Julia Domna) standing to right, holding sceptre, two children playing at feet (Caracalla and Geta?), around PONTIF TR P III COS II, (S.7276, RIC 174a, C.153). Attractive apple green and residual dirt patina, nearly extremely fine/good very fine and very rare in this condition.
