FAUSTINA JUNIOR, wife of Marcus Aurelius, (d.A.D. 175), posthumous silver denarius, (2.834 grams), obv. around DIVA FAV STINA PIA, draped bust to right, rev. CONSE CRATIO, altar enclosure with door in front, (S.5217, RSC 75, RIC M746). Bright, very fine.

Ex Antiquarius, New Zealand, 1997. The Reka Devnia hoard of 81,044 silver coins contained 3504 coins of Faustina Junior with 106 coins of this variety.
