FAUSTINA SENIOR, wife of Antoninus Pius, (died A.D.141), silver denarius, (3.766 grams), issued after 147, Rome mint, obv. draped bust to right of Faustina, around DIVA FAVSTINA, rev. Ceres standing left holding torch and raising right hand, around AVGV STA, (S.4583, BMC 417, RIC 361, RSC 101a). Lightly toned, good very fine.
