HADRIAN, (A.D. 117-138), AE sestertius, Rome mint, issued A.D. 118, (26.77 grams), obv. laureate head of Hadrian to right, with drapery on far shoulder, around IMP CAESAR TRAIANVS HADRIANVS AVG, rev. Annona standing to left holding cornears and cornucopiae to left a modius and cornears, to right a prow of a ship, around PONT MAX TR POT COS DES III, S C in field across, in exergue ANNONA AVG, (S.3576, RIC 560a, C.180). Dark brown patina, good very fine and rare.
