DOMITIAN, (A.D. 81-96), AE as, Rome mint, issued A.D. 81, (11.19 grams), obv. laureate head of Domitian to right, around IMP CAES DIVI VESP F DOMITIAN AVG P M, rev. around TR POT COS VII DES VIII P P, Minerva standing to right, holding spear and shield, S C across field, (cf.S.2815, RIC 237, C.562). Very fine and scarce.
