VESPASIAN, (A.D. 69-79), AE sestertius, Rome mint, issue of middle of A.D. 71, (26.50 grams), obv. IMP CAES VESPAS AVG P M TR P P P COS III, laureate head to right, rev. Concordia seated to left, sacrificing out of patera over altar and holding cornucopiae, S C in exergue, around CONCOR AVG, (S.-, RIC 416, C.62). Dark green patina, minor corrosion spot on edge of reverse, otherwise very fine, a good very fine portrait, rare.
