HERACLIUS, (610-641), silver hexagram or double miliarense, Constantinople mint, issued 615-638, (6.162 grams), obv. seated crowned figures of Heraclius and Heraclius Constantine, cross between, legend around, rev. Cross potent on three steps, K to right, around DEUS ADIUTA ROMANIS, (S.798, DOC 64, BMC 100-5, T.216-7, R.1390-2). Has been plugged, otherwise nearly very fine and a scarce variety.
