TITUS, (A.D. 79-81), imitative cast medal after original medallion by Giovanni Cavino (20.6 grams), obv. laureate bust of emperor to left, rev. IVDAEA CAPTA, Judaea seated left mourning, beneath palm tree, male captive standing to right surrounded by arms, (Lawrence 37, Klawans 3 [p.67 illustrated]). Very fine.
