TACITUS, (A.D. 275-276), billon antoninianus, Rome mint, (3.562 grams), obv. radiate bust of Tacitus to right, around IMP C M CL TACITVS AVG, rev. around VICTO RIA G OTTHI, Victory standing to left, holding wreath and palm, in exergue P, (S.3315, RIC 172, C.157). With much original silvering, extremely fine and rare as such.
