ANTONINUS PIUS, (A.D. 138-161), AE sestertius, (23.80 grams), Rome mint, issued A.D. 158-9, obv. laureate head of Antoninus Pius to right, around ANTONINVS AVG PIVS P P TR P XXII, rev. VOTA SVSCEPTA DEC III, and COS IIII in exergue, S C across field, Antoninus Pius to left, sacrificing with patera over tripod, (S.4262 [F £75], RIC 1010, C.1124). Dark green patina, reverse somewhat pitted, otherwise good very fine/fine, scarce.
