ANTONINUS PIUS, (A.D. 138-161), silver denarius, (2.952 grams), Rome mint, issued A.D. 156-157, obv. laureate head of Antoninus Pius to right, around IMP CAES T AEL HADR ANTONINVS AVG PIVS P P, rev. TRANQ in exergue, TR POT XX COS IIII, Tranquillitas standing to right, holding rudder and two corn ears, (S.4108, RIC 202, RSC 825). Attractive grey patina, nearly extremely fine.
