VESPASIAN, (A.D. 69-79), silver denarius, Rome mint, issued A.D. 74, (3.274 grams), obv. laureate head of Vespasian to right, around IMP CAESAR VESP AVG, rev. Vespasian seated to right on curule chair holding sceptre and branch, PON MAX TR P COS V around, (S.2300 [£65 VF], RIC 76, RSC 363). Off centred obverse, nearly extremely fine/good very fine and scarce in this condition.
