U.S.A. Womens Relief Corps President's Gold Cross engraved on reverse, Presented / To / S. Wilcox / By / Barbara Frietchi 227 / Jan, 1913. Yellow and pink gold and enamel with the words Solid Gold stamped on reverse. Suspended from a pin-backed, pink gold bar engraved on which is PRESIDENT with the makers name JFJ Co/ NY on the reverse. Below this is a small, pink gold shield bearing the engraved initials FLC. Very fine.
