SOUTH AFRICA. Family Group of seven: Queen's South Africa Medal 1899-1902, impressed CONDR. W.A. Cooke. A.S.C.; Group of five: British War Medal 1914-18; 1939-45 Star, Africa Star, British War Medal 1939-45; Africa Service Medal 1939-45; First medal impressed Pte. L Cooke, S.A.S.C., rest impressed 87647 L.C.Cooke. Also World War II Service Chevron for five years overseas service and prize award for C.F.B. S.A. Eisteddfod 1920 named to L. Cooke engraved on the reverse of a shilling coin. Very fine. (8)

With research papers. Served in 1st Battalion SA Irish during World War II.
