Keith Buchanan Enl. 22May1942 Disch. 06Mar1946. Awarded Distinguished Flying Cross 10July1947, L.G.:19Oct1945. 'Flight Lieutenant Buchanan has completed his second tour of operational duty. As Wireless Operator he has proved himself highly efficient both in the air and on the ground. This officer's fine example has done much to maintain the high standard of achievement in his Squadron'. Together with research notes and a copy of extensive reminiscences by the officer (30 pages) in 'Beyond The Irrawaddy and the Salween' by D.G. Morris, Melbourne 1996.
