PALESTINE, Judaea, Herod Archelaus I, (4 B.C. - A.D. 6), copper prutah, AE 15, (1.646 grams), probably Jerusalem mint, obv. bunch of grapes on vine, small leaf to left, around HPW**DOU*, dotted border, rev. tall helmet with crest and cheek straps, caduceus below to left, below inscription **[EQ*NAPXO] off flan, (S.5539, AJC 6a [p.241], H.505 [63], Meshorer 61). Very fine and very scarce in this condition.
