PHOENICIA, Graeco-Palestinian, uncertain, but probably Gaza, (late 5th -early 4th century B.C.), silver stater, (10.914 grams), obv. fish god to left with trident and wreath, rev. lion walking right on ground, (S.-, SNG France 421 [Myriandros], Traite 1028 [Pl.CXXIII, 7, BMC 1 [Pl.XLV, 1]). Toned, very fine and very rare.
