CARIAN ISLANDS, Rhodes, (275-250 B.C.), silver drachm, (3.242 grams), obv. head of Helios three-quarter face to right with hair loose, rev. rose, with bud on right, to left and right P O, helmet to left, above **[E]RASIKLHS*, (S.5037, BMC 59 [p.236], SNG Finland 506 [similar dies], Ashton 'The Coinage of Rhodes 408-190 BC' 194). Porous surface, otherwise very fine, scarce.
