NETHERLANDS, Utrecht, silver ducaton or rider, 1671 (KM.46.1, D.4937). Waterworn, otherwise very good - fine.

Ex Jim Duncan Collection (lot 2327) and previously from the wreck of the "Merestein" a Dutch East-Indiaman ship wrecked off the Saldanha Bay South Africa, 3rd April 1702 which carried a lot of coins. The salvage was in April 1978.
