BOMBAY PRESIDENCY, Malabar Coast issues, c.1730-1796? Velli (or silver) Fanam or fifth rupees (4), similar to Bombay fifth rupees but cruder style, struck with Munbai (Bombay) mint reading but issued for Tellichery Factory (Pr.295, 296), others struck at Mumbai in 1805 for Tellichery Factory, obv. scales and T, date 1805 below, (Pr. 299, KM.277), others (2) 1799 struck at Calicut mint (Pr.298, KM. 276). Mostly very fine or better. (7)
