PELOPONNESOS, Achaean League, (c.160-150 B.C.), silver hemidrachm, Sparta (Lacedaemon) mint, mint mark caps of the Dioscuri on reverse, obv. Zeus head laureate right, rev, wreath with XA monogram within, monogram above, (cf.S.2987, Clerk 319). Off centred obverse, good very fine/nearly fine and scarce.

Ex Noble Numismatics Sale 61 (lot 2630) and the Diakofto Hoard (ICGH 262, found in 1965 at a place 20km. east of Aegium in Achaea).
