BOEOTIA, Thebes, (378-338 B.C.), silver stater, (11.94 grams), obv. Boeotian shield, rev. amphora with letter A/**W S*/ bunch of grapes, (cf.S.2398, Hepworth Series D4, No.15, BMC 123-4, SNG Cop.321). Toned, well centred, very fine and a scarce Magistrate.
