CENTRAL GREECE, Phocis, silver triobol, (c.478-460 B.C.), (3.072 grams), Period II, obv. bull's head facing, rev. archaic head of Artemis to right on angle in incuse square, **F O* - K I around, (S.2346, BMC 13 [same dies], Williams 79 [obv.58, rev.46]). Obverse porosity, otherwise fine/very fine and rare.

Williams reports only three coin from these dies these all being in public collections. This type is distinctive with the reverse die set at a diagonal to the incuse square.
