SIERRA LEONE, cut quarter segment of Charles IIII Spanish American eight reales or dollar, countermarked (c.1832-4) with crowned W(illiam) R(ex) incuse on obverse of original coin (5.47 g.) (Vice FT4, from punch 2). Coin nearly flat, countermark good very fine and attractive dark grey patina, very rare.
