ISLE OF MAN, Douglas, The Douglas Bank Co., Littler, Dove & Co., two shillings and sixpence or halfcrown, 1811, struck in copper (12.41 g) by being overstruck on a halfpenny token with centre grained edge (cf. D5, Pr.47a). Very fine and probably unique.

Ex W.J. Noble Token Collection, Noble Numismatics Sale 58 (lot 1552) and previously from the R.J. Ford (lot 227) Collection.
