FAUSTINA SENIOR, wife of Antoninus Pius, (died A.D.141), silver denarius, (3.206 grams), issued 147, Rome mint, obv. draped bust to right of Faustina, around DIVA FAVSTINA, rev. Ceres standing to left holding sceptre and corn ears, around AVGVSTA, (S.4582, BMC 408, RIC 360, RSC 78). Toned, nearly extremely fine.
