GERMANY, Central Germany, Lower Saxony, Goslar, Anonymous, (12th century), silver bracteate, 26mm, obv. crowned heads of Simon and Judas facing within semi-circular frames, dotted base, (cf.Lobbecke Collection Munster 1974 267-8). Extremely fine, toned and rare variant.
