AYYUBID, al-Kamil Muhammad , (A.H. 615-635) (A.D. 1218-1238), gold dinar, Al Qahira mint (Cairo), dated AH 6[3]5, (AH 624-635 type) = A.D.1237), (5.14 grams), (A.811, Balog 382 Type B, [p.150 with die link], cf.M.829). Slightly crinkled as usual, otherwise good very fine and rare.
Ex Iran hoard c.1965, only a few coins of this type were present in the hoard.
