THAILAND, Southern Thailand, Ligor, round tin coinage (bia), 40mm, (22.3 grams), with round central hole, obv. 'Pei Lang T'ung Pao' (Money of Pei Lang [Pak Phanang, town near Ligor]), rev. 'Yuan Mou Kung Ssu' (Source of Riches Company), (M.-, P.229). Small casting hole, good very fine and very rare.

Pridmore (Num.Circ. March 1974 p.99) claims it to be of a weight that made 40 of these coins equal one dollar. Issue mid-late 19th century.
