THAILAND, Laos, Lan Chang Kingdom, (1591-1707), silver four tamlung, 'Tiger tongue' money, issued from Vientiane, (120 grams), cast, the tiger tongue with raised ovid design on obverse including central band, plain reverse, without snake symbols in centre area, issued late 17th century, (cf.Le May Pl.IV, 1; M.3010). In need of conservation with heavy attached dirt, very good - very fine. (5)
