BURMA, Alaungpaya Dynasty, Bodawpaya, (1782-1819), copper one pice, the two fishes coin, weight 9.1 grams, issued 1797 although dated 1782, Calcutta mint, (Robinson and Shaw, The Coins and Banknotes of Burma, Chapter 8, No.8.3c [similar dies], pp.71-4 [figure 8.3c], KM.2.2, M.-). Very fine and rare.
