BURMA, Kingdom of the Dvaravati, Mon Confederate cities of the Lower Menam valley in South Burma, type I, (A.D. 400-500), silver quarter unit, (1.7 grams, 18mm), obv. sankh shell symbol with ring of dots border, rev. Temple with triangle etc, (cf.Mitchiner H&C of SE Asia 478-486 but smaller denomination, cf.Robinson & Shaw 3.10, cf.Mitchiner ACW 5207, cf.M.2580). Very fine, very rare.
