BURMA, Mon City Coinage of South Burma, Syriam kingdom, Period of the shell/temple coinage, type I, group c, (A.D. 300-400), silver unit (80 ratti), (8.5 grams), obv. sankh shell in a circle of dots, with line border, rev. Temple with cross and dots in angles at sides, one dot in triangular centre within, another a quarter unit (1.4 grams), (Robinson & Shaw -; Mitchiner ACW -; M.SEA 469-477, cf.478-486). Nearly very fine; very fine. (2)
