SYRIA, Seleucis & Pieria, Antiochia ad Orontem, (Antioch), Philip II, (A.D. 247-249 B.C.), billon tetradrachm, (12.83 grams), obv. laureate bust right of Philip II, draped and cuirassed, around AVTOK K M IOV**LI FILIPPO*C CEB, rev. eagle facing open wings, head to left with wreath, around, **DHMARC EXOU*CIAC V**PATO D*, ANTIOXIA over S C in exergue, (cf.S.4146, Prieur 473, BMC 551). Attractive tone, slightly off centred on reverse, otherwise extremely fine and scarce.
