LUCANIA, Thurium, (c.425-400 B.C.), silver stater, (7.88 grams), Obv. Athena head to right, wearing crested Athenian helmet, ornamented with wreath, Rev. Bull walking to left, head lowered, above bull and across, **QOURIW[N]*, below bull **G*, below single exergue line, in exergue tunny fish to right, (cf.S.435 [p.49], SNG Ash 870 [Pl.XIV similar dies], HN 1759 (p.147), SNG ANS 879 [Pl.24 similar dies]). Toned, nearly very fine/very fine.
