MACEDON, Kingdom of, Philip III, (323-316 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (17.056 grams), Babylon mint, issued c.323-317 B.C., obv. head of Herakles to right wearing lion skin, rev. Zeus seated on throne to left, eagle in outstretched hand, wheel over monogram of **RPU* to left of Zeus, monogram of **PUB* below throne, to right **[FI]LIPP[OU]*, below **BASILEE[S]*, (cf.S.6749, Price P189, BMC P189a-b, M.P29). Very fine.
