TRIO: Crimea Medal; Victoria Volunteer Long & Efficent Service Medal 1881-93; Turkish Crimea Medal. B.Code Suprt C.D.Corps on first, B.Code - 1882 on second. First engraved, second impressed. Also County of Bendigo Agricultural and Horticultural Society Medal, in silver (23mm x 28mm), Awarded to 'Sergt B.Code 1st Mounted Mellee Spring Show 1888.

The Victoria Volunteer Long & Efficient Service Medal is unique in that it was issued in a Crown colony prior to obtaining Royal permission. Furthermore, it was the only long service medal issued in any Australian colony or state to be struck locally and of purely original design. Regimental Sergeant Majro B.Code. Born 16Oct1831. With copies of rolls confirming entitlement, original letter presenting replacement ribbons, copy of obituary (The Age, 1914), coloured photograph.
