MARCUS AURELIUS, (A.D. 161-180), silver denarius, issued A.D. 170, (3.19 grams), obv. laureate head right, around M ANTONINVS AVG TR P XXIIII, rev. VICT AVG COS IIII, Victory advancing left holding wreath and trophy, (S.4953, BMC 532, RIC 225, RSC 979). Lightly toned, very fine and scarce.

With certificate of authentcity being part of the hoard found at Holme in Lincolnshire.
