NETHERLANDS, Overijssel, silver ducaton 'rider', 1734, (KM.80). Nearly extremely fine with patination.

Ex the wreck of the 't'Vliegent Hart' a Dutch East-Indiaman ship wrecked off the south west of Holland in province of Zeeland, on the 3rd February 1735 which carried a lot of these coins all dated 1734. The ship was salvaged in 1981. Before being sold these coins were exhibited at the Dutch National Museum, with Certificate of Authencity, signed by John V.G. Rose Director of Atlantic Treasure Coin Inc.
