VIETNAM, North, Aluminium five hao, 1946, value in raised lettering type, (KM.2.2); aluminium one dong, 1946, (KM.3); South Vietnam, fifty dong, nickel-clad issue 1975, rev. farmers in rice paddy, (KM.14) (illust.). Nearly uncirculated, scarce, last very rare. (3)

It has been reported that all but a few examples survived as issue was disposed of as scrap metal.
