CHINA, Chou Dynasty, Middle to late period, (475-221 B.C.), straight knife money, issued 300-250 B.C., Lin 'Fiery in appearance' (12.81 grams), length 114mm, (Coole Vol.6 8867, p.497, Not in Sch., TFP 347, Hartill 4.75). Light dirt adhering to attractive green surface, otherwise good very fine and very rare.

Coole regards the piece as from the town of Lin in the Sstate of Chao.
