GEORGE III, emergency issue, oval countermark dollar (S.3765A) false (?) countermark on silver plated 1792 eight reales of Chile, Santiago mint. An contemporary counterfeit produced in Birmingham (?). Surface flaws edge nicks, otherwise very fine and interesting.
