EDWARD THE CONFESSOR (1042-1066), silver penny, issued 1059-1062, Hammer cross type, obv. crowned bust bearded right with sceptre, rev. short cross voided with crescents at each end, around +DORR ON EOFRPICE (Thor of York mint), (S.1182, Br. 8, BMC XI, N.828). Toned, extremely fine and rare.
