EDWARD THE CONFESSOR (1042-1066), silver penny, issued 1052-1053, heavy coinage, expanding cross type, obv. diademed bust left with sceptre, rev. short cross voided with expanding limbs, around SPRACLINC ON LVN (Sprclinc of London mint), (Br. 5, BMC V, N.823, S.1177). Toned, extrermely fine and rare.
