CHINA, Ch'ing Dynasty (1644-1911), silver drum shaped sycee ingot, from Yunnan Province, 'Yi Thai Yu' (a shop name) type XL (Cribb), ten taels or ten ounce type, (385 grams), with one large one three character block of stamps, (Cribb Group F, - [cf.p.176-7], cf.M.4049). Very fine and rare.

Cribb does not record this example type and is similar to Mitchiner illustrated examples.
