FAUSTINA JUNIOR, wife of Marcus Aurelius, (d.A.D. 175), posthumous silver denarius, (3.074 grams), obv. around DIVA FAV STINA PIA, draped bust to right, rev. CONSE CRATIO, peacock standing facing with open tail, (cf.S.5215, RSC 70, RIC M743). Bright, good very fine.

The Reka Devnia hoard of 81,044 silver coins contained 3504 coins of Faustina Junior but only 32 coins of this variety.
