TOKELAU ISLANDS, proof silver tala, 1978 (KM.1a) together with inscribed edge for issue in cupro-nickel as a blank for that coinage, (cf.KM.1); card reverse mock-ups of 1978 & 1978 talas. FDC with reverse scratch; extremely fine and probably unique.

Ex W.H. Lampard Collection, lot 3551. Probably ex James Berry estate, the designer of the coins.
