CHINA, Ch'ing Dynasty (1644-1911), silver drum shaped sycee ingot, from Shichuan Province, Qianwei County, Jiding Prefecture, type XL (Cribb), 'Sichuan Piaoding', ten taels or ten ounce type, (373 grams), with one large one four character block of stamps, 'Jian-we-xian', (cf.Cribb 459 (PL.49) with only one set of characters, this of similar size and type but one block only). Very fine and very rare.
