BANK OF AUSTRALASIA, second issue, uniface black and white printer's proof on thin paper, five pounds, Dunedin 1st January 1878, three punch hole cancellations in signature reserve, imprint Perkins Bacon & Co. london Patent Hardened Steel Plate, pencilled date right side of bottom margin 'January 1878' (P.S112, Robb 4b var). Margins cut close, slight smudging bottom margin otherwise good extremely fine and rare.
